On the day, most questions are asked in the moment. Where’s the cloakroom? Which hall is the keynote in? What time do the doors open? Is there step-free access to the main stage?

Visitors want answers right where they’re standing, without queueing at an information desk or searching a website on a small screen.

A QR code is all it takes

Your Digital Assistant has its own link. Put that link in a QR code on signs, entrances, table cards, programmes or screens, and visitors open the Assistant on their own phone in one scan. There’s no app to download and nothing to sign up for.

From there, they ask in their own words and get an answer from your approved knowledge: directions, timings, accessibility, food, facilities and more.

Where to put it

  • Entrances and foyers. “Got a question? Just ask.”
  • Table cards and seat backs at conferences and dinners.
  • Programmes and printed guides.
  • Big screens between sessions or acts.
  • Information points, so the queue moves faster.

Keep the message short and the QR code large, and say what it does: “Scan to ask our Digital Assistant.”

The same Assistant everywhere

The Assistant visitors open on their phone is the same one that answers on your website, social channels, WhatsApp and phone line. It uses the same knowledge and rules, and gives the same answers. When something changes on the day, you update it once and every channel, including the one in their pocket, gives the new answer.

Floor plans and guides in a tap

Visitors who prefer to have something to hand can ask for a floor plan, programme or guide, and receive it as a document straight away.

People when they need them

If a visitor needs a person, such as for an access request, a complaint or something urgent, the Assistant passes it to your team with a summary and the conversation, so they can act quickly.

See what visitors asked

After the event, Cortex shows you what people asked and where answers fell short, so you can improve signage, information and the Assistant itself for next time.
