At Sum Vivas Ltd, we are committed to ensuring our website and services are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We strive to create an inclusive online environment where all users can easily access information about our fully managed AI Digital Assistants and interact with our content effectively.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user friendly for everyone.
Our current assessment indicates that the Sum Vivas Ltd website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. This may be due to ongoing work to address specific areas, the dynamic nature of some content, or reliance on third-party components.
In October 2026 we tested every page of this website with automated accessibility checks (Google Lighthouse, which uses the axe-core engine), on mobile and desktop, and found no issues. We also checked keyboard use, reduced-motion settings, colour contrast and how pages reflow on small screens. Automated tools can only find some kinds of barrier, so this is not a full audit.
How We Support Accessibility
The website is built to work for as many people as possible:
- Keyboard: everything, including menus, the Summer chat launcher and its greeting, can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Moving content: the hero video and the customer logo strip have pause controls, and animations are switched off when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on.
- Text and colour: text meets WCAG AA colour-contrast levels against its background, and pages work when zoomed to 200%.
- Images and films: images that carry information have text alternatives, and our product films have a written summary of what they show.
- Structure: each page has a clear heading order and labelled regions, so screen readers can move around it easily.
Our Efforts to Support Accessibility
Sum Vivas Ltd is committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of its website. We are taking the following steps:
- Integrating Accessibility: We are incorporating accessibility considerations into our design and development processes.
- Regular Review: We conduct periodic internal reviews and testing to identify and address accessibility issues.
- Employee Training: We are working to ensure our team members responsible for content and development are aware of accessibility best practices.
- Utilising Tools: We use automated and manual testing tools to identify potential barriers.
Known Issues and Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there are some limitations we know about:
- The Summer chat window: the conversation inside the Summer widget is provided by our Digital Assistant service in a separate frame. Its accessibility is tested separately from this website.
- Films: our product films do not have captions. Each has a written summary of what it shows.
- Summer’s launcher animation: while it is idle, Summer’s launcher has a gentle repeating pulse. It stops when you hover over or focus on it, and it is switched off when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on.
- Full manual audit: a full manual audit with screen readers has not yet been completed. Until it has, we describe the site as partially conformant.
We are continuously working to resolve these issues and improve the overall accessibility of our website.
