Since our founding in 2022 by Denise Harris and Rob Sims, Sum Vivas has grown into a pioneering force in AI-driven digital human technology. Securing funding from Innovate UK’s Creative Catalyst programme was a pivotal moment, enabling us to introduce ‘Dex,’ the world’s first Digital Human DJ, during Digital Fashion Week New York—a debut that caught the attention of global audiences.
Building on that momentum, we joined the Baltic Ventures accelerator programme, a move that has positioned us for even greater growth. This year, we’ve expanded the application of our digital human technology, deploying ‘Liv’ at Liverpool ONE. Liv has been a game-changer for the guest services team, providing seamless and interactive assistance to visitors and demonstrating the practical and dynamic potential of AI-enhanced digital humans in real-world scenarios.
